Founded by Dr. Gede Ngurah Wididana in 1997, PT. Karya Pak Oles Tokcer is rooted in the healing traditions of Bali. Inspired by his grandmother’s ancient herbal practices in Bengkel Village and supported by scientific knowledge from Japan, he created Bokashi Oil — a natural fermented herbal remedy that blends heritage with modern technology.

A Journey from Bali to Japan: The Birth of Bokashi
Gede Ngurah Wididana, widely known as Pak Oles, was born in Bengkel Village, North Bali, into a family of farmers and traditional healers. Deeply inspired by his grandmother, Dadong Bandung, who used fermented herbal oil for healing, he dreamed of bringing local wisdom to the modern world.
After graduating in agriculture from Udayana University, he pursued his master’s degree at the University of The Ryukyus in Okinawa, Japan. There, he discovered Effective Microorganisms (EM) — a groundbreaking fermentation technology. It was in Japan that the seeds of Bokashi Oil were planted: a fermented herbal formula that blends Balinese ancestral healing with modern science
