PT Songgo Langit Persada

After receiving a license from Prof. Dr. Teruo Higa to develop EM (Effective Microorganism) technology in Indonesia, Gede Ngurah Wididana established PT. Songgo Langit Persada in 1993 with the aim of marketing the organic agricultural product EM4.
EM4 is a liquid organic fertilizer containing specific beneficial microorganisms—such as Lactobacillus and photosynthetic bacteria—that support the growth and development of all types of plants. EM4 is also applicable in other fields, including livestock farming (for poultry and ruminants), aquaculture, pond farming, waste treatment, and even for reducing toilet odors.

In addition to EM4, PT. Songgo Langit Persada also produces liquid organic fertilizers derived from the fermentation of seaweed (Sarula) and medicinal plants (Saferto). The company also manufactures Ecocity Fertilizer to meet the growing demand from the plantation sector.
As the company has grown, PT. Songgo Langit Persada has expanded its production to include organic fertilizers made from animal manure, known as bokashi. These fertilizers are marketed under the brand names Pupuk Organik Bokashi Kotaku, Bokashi Kotaku Sekar, and Bokashi Kotaku Granul.

With strong commitment and dedication, PT. Songgo Langit Persada continues to engage in research and development of organic fertilizer products, contributing positively to the advancement of the agricultural sector in Indonesia.

Aktivitas

The EM4 organic fertilizer industry was established in Bengkel Village, Busung Biu District, Buleleng Regency. EM4 is distributed throughout Indonesia using a distributor-based marketing system.

Meanwhile, the Bokashi Kotaku Organic Fertilizer Factory was established in Bantas Village, East Selemadeg District, Tabanan Regency.

The EM4 factory and its derivative products are produced using inoculation and propagation technology under the supervision of EMRO (EM Research Organization), Japan. Bokashi Kotaku is produced to meet the increasing demand from farmers for organic fertilizers. The raw material for Bokashi Kotaku Fertilizer is animal manure, which is fermented using EM Technology.

Research and Development

Research and development of EM Technology are carried out to maintain and improve the quality of EM4 Organic Fertilizer and Bokashi Kotaku. Trials for the use of EM4 and Bokashi Kotaku fertilizers are conducted on both laboratory scale and field scale.
